Hi, I’m Kara, the maker behind Nursery Crimes Press. I have a weird little shop full of horror humor, cryptids, rude nostalgia, and creepy, cute chaotic nonsense. I create tumblers, metal signs, journals, mirrors, lighters, shot glasses, pop sockets, and other strange gifts for people who like their cute stuff a little cursed. I've always enjoyed making stuff but rarely had time to do anything. I'm like, 40 or 50 years old! Between work and school (yes, I'm a student at Clemson University... move past it) I had negative free time. Over the past several months my give-a-damn completely ran out, and I decided that I was tired of spending all my time doing grown-up stuff. My midlife crisis came knockin' like the police and obviously the only logical thing to do was clean out my 401-K and buy a bunch of heat presses. Duh. So... here we are. Nursery Crimes Press is for horror fans, cryptid weirdos, sarcastic gift-givers, and anyone who appreciates dark humor with glitter on it. I also take custom orders, whether it’s a funny design, a photo gift, or something oddly specific you haven't been able to find anywhere else.
