Bio
Artist BIO - Kristin Kiefer By day, she’s wrangling middle school math equations. By night—and most in-between moments—she’s happily covered in clay. She’s a proud mom of five grown kids, a grandma to three, and the wife of a wonderfully supportive husband who’s been cheering her on from the start (and graciously sharing space with a rapidly expanding pottery obsession). What began as a once-a-week pottery class with her cousin quickly turned into something much bigger. After just a few months, one day a week simply wasn’t enough. A wheel was added, then a kiln… and before long, a full pottery studio took over the basement. Through it all, clay became more than just a hobby—it became her therapy. A way to slow down, get centered, and create with intention. As shelves filled with handmade pieces, Centered Clay by KK was born—a way to share that joy with others. Today, she creates functional, feel-good pottery meant to be used, loved, and woven into everyday life. You can now find her work at Westside Market Roswell—and she couldn’t be more excited to share a little piece of her heart (and a lot of clay) with the community.
