It’s ideal for customers with high-value wool, silk, or tribal rugs that have been frayed, torn, moth-eaten, or worn down over time. Types of Rug Repairs: Fringe Repair or Replacement, Replaces missing or damaged fringe using matching material or full re-fringing, Edge (Selvage) Repair Rewraps or reconstructs side edges to prevent unraveling or fraying, Hole & Tear Reweaving Reweaves missing sections by hand, matching original colors, fibers, and knots, Moth Damage Repair Reconstructs areas damaged by larvae, often with full-patch reweaving, Binding Repair Adds or restores machine or hand-applied bindings for structure, Backing Reinforcement Adds new backing for flatweaves or worn rugs (optional support layer), Inspection & Estimate Process: Customer Drop-off or Pickup Inspect rug for visible damage, fading, odors, or structural issues.
