Bio
As an intuitive expressive artist, I don’t plan my paintings in advance. I typically start with an overarching idea in mind and a color palette, but then I let the painting lead me and tell me where to go, one step at a time. Which ends up requiring a lot of problem solving along the way! I am very much inspired by color - I absolutely love color! I love seeing how one color influences and inspires another. My work is also inspired by the complexity and layers of life. As we grow and encounter adversity, we end up with layers of experience. We have scars - some small, some large. Together, those experiences and scars create a depth and a beauty. They come together to create a unique picture of who we are. My art seeks to honor that richness and depth of experience through the use of texture and layers. My paintings have many, many layers and textures. My friends and I have collaborated on our booth (415B) to bring you original art, home decor, ladies clothing and accessories and baby clothes. Hope you can come check us out!
